The Story of Jonathan Mark Homes, Inc.
Jonathan Mark Homes, Inc. began as Jonathan Mark Custom Homes in DeSoto in 1993.
The company began as a family business with Jonathan Mark Pinon being the one with the desire to build a home building business, and his father, Harley Pinon being the one who would help with the financial support.
Jonathan Mark Custom Homes built homes in DeSoto, Ovilla, Red Oak, Lancaster, Cedar Hill, and Duncanville.
In 1996, Jonathan Mark Custom Homes incorporated, and became Jonathan Mark Homes, Inc. We also joined the National Association of Home Builders and Home and Apartment Builders of Dallas. We also became registered 10-year warrantee builders.
On January 2, 1997, we purchases land in Venus. We developed this into 89 lots which became known as Meadow Ridge. We built and sold the homes on these lots in just over three years.
Late in 1999, we purchased 16 lots in Park Place in Midlothian. Over the course of the next several months, we built homes on these lots and sold them.
In 2001, we began a new sub-division in Venus which we called Meadow Ridge II. We are currently building in the second phase of this sub-division.
Two years ago, Jonathan built a custom home in The Lakes of Creekwood in Mansfield. We built one other home in this sub-division, and then purchased lots in Mansfield National where we have completed homes, and continue to build on our remaining lots. At this point, we have simply built homes to sell, we are not building pre-sold homes in Mansfield at this time.
Currently, we are continuing to build in Meadow Ridge II in Venus. This is our main base of operation where we try to always have lots available for construction. The owners of Jonathan Mark Homes, Inc., also own Venus Development, Inc. This means that we determine the lot size, layout of the community, and provide natural gas to all of our home owners who build homes in Venus. It also means that we are able to develop additional lots when we need them.
We are currently building homes in Mansfield National in Mansfield, and in Windchase in Waxahachie. We continue to build in Venus which is where our corporate offices are located. We have built, completed, and sold approximately 200 homes.
We are a family owned and run corporation of over thirteen years experience. We are members of the Better Business Bureau, National Association of Home Builders, Greater Fort Worth Builders Association, and Texas Association of Builders.
