Your utilities are probably all on with the exception of your telephone, however, it is up to you to be sure that all of these are set up in your name if you haven’t already taken care of this. Please take care of this within two business days of closing. Otherwise, your service may be disconected without further notice. The following is for your information.

Water: Your water deposit is to be made at the City Hall which is located on Hwy 67 just east of the Shell station and Citizens bank. The normal deposit is $100.

Gas & Electric TU Electric is 800-242-9113. The Gas company is now Atmos Energy. Their number is 800-621-1867.

Telephone Your telephone company is Verison. Their toll free number is: 1-800-483-4400.

TV Cable At the present time, there is no cable TV service. If you install a dish, please ask your company not to mount the dish where it is obvious from the front of your home. The ground or back portion of your roof is where it should be mounted if at all possible. If there is a problem with this, please have them check with Andy, Harley, or Jonathan before installing.

Your Mail If you will go to the post office, you may get a key to one of the cluster boxes located on Meadow Ridge Drive and Wheat Valley Blvd. Your mailing address will simply be your street address. The box and key are without charge. The post office closes from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., and closes for the day at 4:00 p.m.

Your Trash Your trash is collected each Wednesday. They may come as early as 7:00 or 8:00 a.m., so either put out your trash Tuesday evening, or very early Wednesday. Trash collection is billed with your water bill.
